Walk down the Llanberis Pass to Nant Peris where we will pick up a path at (SH 622 568) [CAR HERE]

At this point we need to decide whether to gain Tryfan by Bristly Ridge(SH 659 586) or carry on to

the Miners Tack (SH 667 582)

[8]Tryfan (SH 664 593) Descent from Tryfan via South Ridge to South Peak then head West to

Cwm Bochlwyd (SH 655 592)

Follow the path from Cwm Bochlwyd to Idwal Cottage YHA (SH 648 603) where we can enjoy a

butty and a brew from the cafe/shop. [CAR HERE]

From Idwal Cottage there is an obvious path up the South Ridge of [9]Pen Yr Ole Wen (SH 655 619)
[10]Carnedd Dafydd (SH 663 630)

Follow the path through Cefn Ysgolion Duon (SH 673 630) to Bwlch Cyfryw - drum (SH 682 637)

and then contour round to [11]Yr Elen (SH 673 651) then back South East to

[12]Carnedd Llewelyn (SH 683 644)

North(ish) to [13]Foel Grach (SH 688 658)
[14]Garnedd Uchaf (SH 687 669)
[15]Foel Fras (SH 696 681)

Walkout
Retrace to Garnedd Uchaf (SH 687 669). Before reaching summit take the path at (SH 691 673)

which threads between Garnedd Uchaf and Yr Aryg (SH 680 673). Descend grassy slopes to

Cwm Caseg, where a well marked track leads to the head of the lane at (SH 639 665) [CAR HERE]
